PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world; you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional anywhere in the world.
Do you need any special requirements? Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver programme available.
What will you do during the PADI Open Water Diver Course? After studying the PADI Open Water manual, you will take part in theory sessions with your instructor to watch DVD presentations, quizzes and knowledge reviews to learn the basic theory behind diving. You will take part in confined water training in a swimming pool to learn skills required for safe diving and feel comfortable with the equipment. You will apply what you have learned in the theory and confined water sessions and complete a total of four (4) open water ocean dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
